For nearly four decades, Glenn Pere has worked as both a builder and an analyst of modern culture. His entertainment marketing agency has sat at the crossroads of television, sports, politics, and brands, giving him a front-row seat to how stories move from a writer’s room or a locker room into the center of public conversation.
As a long-time creative partner to HBO, Glenn has helped shape campaigns around series like The Sopranos, Sex and the City, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Real Time with Bill Maher, and many others. That work wasn’t just about promoting premieres; it was about understanding why certain stories catch fire, how characters become shorthand for attitudes and values, and how premium content can influence what people talk about at work, in classrooms, and online. Above nd beyond HBO Glenn's agency was lead creative for A&E, HBO Sports, AmEx Gold Card, NBATV, CNN, TNT and so many more culturally significant brands.
Glenn has also stepped in front of the camera as a commentator on these dynamics. He has appeared on programs such as Bill O’Reilly’s show to discuss celebrity, influence, and the impact of star endorsements on political campaigns and how a single public figure’s support can shift perception, change media coverage, and reset the stakes of an election overnight. Those conversations reflect a broader theme in his work: culture is not background noise, it’s an active force that shapes what people believe is normal, acceptable, or aspirational.
This long view of how entertainment, celebrity, and media ecosystems shape behavior is the foundation Glenn carries into his later ventures—first with CollegeClickTV, and now with TeenBack where the stakes are no longer ratings or box office, but how young people navigate some of the most consequential decisions and risks in their lives.

CollegeClickTV was Glenn Pere’s answer to a shift he spotted early: teens were no longer choosing colleges from brochures and guidebooks they were already researching everything online, expecting authenticity, video, and peer voices.
CollegeClickTV was Glenn’s brainchild, built around a simple but disruptive insight:
if you want to understand a campus, you don’t start with the brochure, you start with the students.
He founded CollegeClickTV as a behavior-driven, video-first college search platform that mirrored how teens actually explore big decisions online. The result was one of the first systems to pair structured campus data with large-scale, peer-to-peer content, students on camera talking about academics, social life, dorms, and the realities behind the marketing line.
More than 300 colleges and universities came to rely on CollegeClickTV as part of their recruitment and yield strategy. Glenn structured it as an enterprise subscription service: institutions licensed the platform so that prospective students and their families could access it for free. Colleges paid to be included; teens didn’t. That model aligned incentives—schools invested in better storytelling and transparency, while students got a richer, no-cost view of campuses they might never visit in person.
The platform’s approach also attracted marquee partners. CollegeClickTV content was integrated into college-search experiences at U.S. News & World Report, The Princeton Review, and CliffsNotes, placing its student videos directly inside the tools that families were already using to compare schools. Glenn ultimately exited CollegeClickTV in a sale to Bisk Education, validating the core idea that if you design around teen behavior—how they search, compare, and decide—you can reshape an entire decision-making journey for institutions and students at the same time.

Glenn’s current focus, TeenBack, is built for a different, and increasingly urgent, challenge: teen behavior in an always-on digital environment.
Around the world, adolescents are spending unprecedented hours on their phones and platforms. High screen time, compulsive social media use, and constant exposure to gambling, vaping, alcohol, and other risky content are now tightly linked to anxiety, disrupted sleep, impaired attention, and escalating addictive behaviors. Digital channels are no longer just a backdrop to teen life—they are the primary delivery system for both information and risk.
TeenBack is designed to operate inside that reality, not around it. It is a scalable, AI-driven text messaging platform that combines elements of ed tech, behavioral science, and digital health to support teens in real time:
Unlike one-off assemblies, static curricula, or apps teens must remember to open, TeenBack runs quietly in the background—hour by hour, message by message—creating a consistent layer of digital protection that can be deployed at the level of a school, a district, or an entire region.
Across HBO, CollegeClickTV, and TeenBack, the common thread in Glenn Pere’s work is clear: use media, data, and technology to meet young people exactly where they are—and to improve the decisions that shape their futures.
